Have you heard about OC Mom Collective?
Last month my sister-in-law forwarded me an email she received from OC Mom Collective letting our community of Orange County moms know about an open invitation to join their writing team.
So I applied.
In what felt like like a whirlwind of pursuing this writing opportunity, I was welcomed onto the writing team. And I couldn’t have been more excited . . . until I was!
A week already into September, which happens to be Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, I requested to write a special article in honor of Zeke, our little cancer survivor. It was so exciting to hear that my expedited article was approved!
So I started writing.
Fast forward a couple weeks, and after editing was completed, my first article has been published!

What comes to mind when you hear the number, “two?” Well, that probably depends on the season of life you’re in, and whatever hurdles you’re currently facing . . .
Newlyweds might think, “Boom baby! We made it through our first two years of marriage. Look at us! We’re practically an old married couple. Anyone need some marriage advice from a couple of pros?!” . . .
First-time parents might be thinking, “My baby’s growing up so fast! . . .
Moms of toddlers might have a certain expression in mind. “Terr…Terrific Twos!” . . .
Often, “two” seems relatively quick and short. Through the lens of wisdom and maturity, two years can feel like the blink of an eye.
In my own motherhood, however, “two” has had a much more severe association.
